LOXAHATCHEE, Fla. —
A baby zebra is joining the herd at Lion Country Safari.
On Friday, the safari welcomed the male Plains zebra to the largest herd in the country. It will roam with nearly 60 other zebras on the Hwange section of the safari.
The foal and the mom are now visible to guests who drive through the safari and check out Plains zebra. The species are listed as "near threatened" because of poaching and habitat loss.
