On Saturday, the Town of Palm Beach issued Emergency Order 2020-02 which strongly encourages residents, employees and visitors to wear facial coverings to help slow the

spread of COVID-19.

 

West Palm Beach Mayor Keith A. James and the City of West Palm Beach Emergency

Management team also announced they encourage the use of face coverings in public

settings where social distancing measures are difficulty to maintain.

 

Facial masks can take any form as long as the mouth and nose are covered. Homemade

masks have been made using scarfs, bandanas, handkerchiefs and other cloth coverings.

The Town of Palm Beach states the use of N95 rated masks should be avoided as they are

a necessity for healthcare workers
