In a letter, the Centers for Disease Control and Prevention Director instructed the Florida governor to take steps to be able to distribute COVID-19 vaccines by Nov. 1, but a local infectious disease physician, Dr. Kitonga Kiminyo, said he worries things may not be ready by that specific date. “We need to make sure that that vaccine has been tried and tested appropriately and through the appropriate channels,” Dr. Kiminyo said.
