WWE 'Mr. Wonderful' Paul Orndorff dies at 71

WWE Hall of Famer Paul Orndorff, known to many as "Mr. Wonderful," has died at the age of 71.

Before Orndorff participated in WWE, he was a running back at the University of Tampa. He joined Mid-Southern Wrestling after a short amount of time in the World Football League.

 

Orndorff joined WWE in 1983 and made his debut Jan. 23, 1984. Years later, he would go up against Hulk Hogan and Mr. T in the main event of WrestleMania I. After his time in the WWE, he became a trainer for WCW's Power Plant.
