A Florida judge ruled on Wednesday that Florida schools can issue mask mandates while Gov. Ron DeSantis' appeal plays out.

The Florida executive order banning mandatory mask mandates in schools was back in court Wednesday.

Gov. Ron DeSantis and other defendants appealed at 10 a.m. after 2nd Judicial Circuit Court of Florida Judge John Cooper ruled the executive order was unlawful on Aug. 27.
