A woman in Centerview, Missouri, is about to retire after teaching for almost 60 years. "It's keeping me alive," said teacher Juanita Peaslee, of Crest Ridge High School.
Peaslee has been in 58 school yearbooks — probably more. The popular 89-year-old science teacher is calling it a career in just three weeks.
"I was so tired and then I found someone that I thought could take over," Peaslee said.
She said that over time she's not only watched the students grow up but the staff around her as well.
