CAPE CANAVERAL, Fla. —
NASA and Artemis 1 mission officials held a second news conference Tuesday to discuss what happened during the scrubbed launch Monday and to confirm that the next attempt will take place Sat., Sept. 3.
The launch time will be at 2:17 p.m. with a two-hour window.
Officials said the probability of a weather violation is 60% but in the event they have to scrub the launch again, they would aim for Monday, depending on the reason.
NASA said they will change the loading procedure during the second attempt and will start the engine chill-down process earlier. Officials will meet again on Sept. 1 to discuss overall launch readiness.
