Kentucky coal miner who showed up to basketball game in his work clothes talks about experience

A Kentucky coal miner who rushed straight from work to take his family to a University of Kentucky Wildcats practice game is on the shortlist for father of the year and earned praise from legendary coach John Calipari, who shared a picture of him and expressed admiration for his hard work and dedication to his son.

The photo, which has now gone viral, shows Michael McGuire and his son sitting in the stands at Saturday's Blue-White Game scrimmage that was played in Pikeville, in Eastern Kentucky.

McGuire is still wearing his work uniform and heavy boots and his face and arms are covered in black coal dust.

Elvis Had More Drugs In His System When He Died Than You Probably Thought

According to a case study published by the Manitoba government website, Presley's physician, Dr. George Nichopoulos, admitted to prescribing the singer a wide range of drugs to get him through the day; in any one week prior to a concert, the King would be administered a "protocol program" of around 680 pills and a range of liquid medicines including "amphetamines, depressants, and painkillers" to get him through rehearsals and the show itself.

'Back to the Future' fans love Michael J. Fox and Christopher Lloyd's emotional reunion

 “Back to the Future” stars Michael J. Fox and Christopher Lloyd reunited Oct. 8 at New York Comic Con.

The co-stars shared a warm embrace as they took the stage to a thunderous round of applause from those in attendance.

The pair answered questions from fans, and Fox gushed about working with Lloyd and how he brought the eccentric scientist Doc Brown to life.
